Omagh Integrated Primary School sod cutting ceremony

The principal. pupils and staff from Omagh Integrated Primary school joined Woodvale and special guests for the sod cutting ceremony for their new school last Friday.

The guests included Baroness May Blood, who is campaign chairperson of the Integrated Education Fund and John Fitzpatrick, hotelier and chair of the Ireland Funds who flew to the ceremony in his helicopter much to the pupils' delight.

The new 14 classroom school will have a resource area, sports hall, catering and dining facilities and a nursery school and children's centre.
At the ceremony, Baroness Blood said "It's very exciting to imagine what the new buildings and play areas will look like, built next to Drumragh Integrated College and creating a full integrated education campus for Omagh."
